will be sent to the 50.
3. Penalty strokes will not be used to break a tie. An 8 second shoot out will be used.
The rules below will not be used in the high school league for this year as they are only experimental and will not be adopted internationally until January 2013.
1. Method of scoring-A goal is scored when the ball touches an attacker OR defender, including the keeper, in the circle. * It does not matter who puts the ball into the circle.

First Aid Protocol
Ambulances are to be called by the tournament technical officials only. A trainer will be in attendance at all times during this event. Ice will be available at all three fields. In accordance with FIH regulations, the umpires will assess the injury and request help if necessary. Coaches are not to enter the field of play unless instructed to do so by the umpire. In the event that an injury is significant, especially injuries to the head, the umpire will ask for the trainer. In either circumstance, the player must remain on the sidelines for at least two minutes following the resumption of play. It is recommended that players who sustain injuries requiring further medical attention be transported to Eagle Ridge Hospital Emergency Department which is within 10 minutes of the field. Directions will be provided as part of the Coach’s package. The tournament committee is not responsible for transporting players to the hospital.
