Welcome to Field Hockey BC's guide to post-secondary education for field hockey players

The Carleton Ravens Women's Field Hockey team tied for 6th at the 2008-2009 OUA playoffs.

Head Coach Sherry Doiron brings a lot of experience to the team as she has been involved with coaching at the Provincial, University, and National levels. Sherry is currently the manager of Coaching and Development for Field Hockey Canada as well as the video-analysis and manager for Field Hockey Canada's National Women's Team.

 Carleton University - Athletics Minimize
Carleton Universrity makes it an ongoing priority to invest in their athletics programs. From their champion varsity teams and exciting new recreational programs, including kickboxing and zumba, to their superior fitness and athletics facilities, Carleton University strives to provide the students with the best possible athletic resources.

The Carleton University Physical Recreation Centre is one of the largest facility of its kind in Canada and is a multi-use complex that offers a wide variety of training programs and services to accommodate every athlete, from beginner to professional.

The university is represented in Canadian Interuniversity Sport by the Carleton Ravens. The men's basketball team has won the CIS for three consecutive years.

Catherine Potter Named OUA Second Team All-Star

Catherine PotterCatherine Potter, of Carleton University’s Field Hockey Team, was named to the OUA Second Team of All-Stars, following an outstanding 2008-2009 OUA campaign.

The fifth-year History major helped to lead the Ravens to a 2-8-3 finish for 9-team points in the OUA, including a strong late run to earn two wins, one tie and only one loss in their final four matches of the season.

Potter, an Ottawa native, joins eleven First-Team and ten additional Second Team OUA All-Stars, all honored for their achievements and accomplishments on the field this season.
