2010-2011 Regional Super Series Program
What:
This program is for athletes interested in continuous, committed High Performance Training and Competition during the winter/spring months. The Program focuses on team preparation and tactical strategies, and involves high performance coaching by certified coaches. Athletes will be provided with a fitness program and fitness training support and will be expected to work on their fitness from winter to spring to meet a beep test fitness requirement. The Regional Program is the first step in provincial team athlete identification process, and is mandatory for athletes interested in representing BC.
Who:

Female athletes born in 1993, 1994, and 1995*

Southeast Region - live (or attend school) in Burnaby, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, Delta, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, or Surrey.

*New this year - athletes born in 1995 have the option to trial for the U18 Regional Super Series program. If they are not selected for the U18 Super Series they can then trial for the Foundations Program.)
When:

Trials will be held October 15-17, 2010.

The program will start the weekend of November 26-28, 2010.

U18 Super Series Finals weekend - April 8-10, 2011, in Metro Vancouver.

Team BC Selection Camp - April 29-May 1, 2011, in Metro Vancouver.
Where:

Trials and Training will be held at Tamanawis Field (located in Surrey, at 64th Avenue and 126th street).

Competition will be held on the Island and in Metro Vancouver.

Attendance at the first trial is mandatory in order to be considered for selection. If you are injured, selectors must see a doctor or physiotherapist’s note with a return to play date. Please send an email to your zone representatuve if you are injured, so the selectors are aware of all injuries prior to the trials.
