Canadian Junior Men place third in pool and fourth overall at the Pan-Am Youth Championships
Canada narrowly misses out on a Bronze Medal in defeat to Chile at the Youth Pan American Championships, held in Hermosillo, Mexico. Canada placed third in pool play and fourth overall. Congratulations to all athletes and staff involved.

2010 BC Women's Senior Indoor Championships
Congratulations to the Vancouver Hawks on winning the 2010 BC Senior Indoor Championship Title over the Shinny Girls in the final game with a very close score of 6-5. UVic finished in third place defeating UBC with a high scoring game of 7-3. For full results of the Senior Championships, please click here.

2010 BC Women's Junior Indoor Championship
Congratulations to Victoria on winning the 2010 BC Junior Indoor Championship Title over Mid Island 1 in the final game with a score of 3-1. Vancouver finished in third place defeating Mid Island 2 with a very close score of 2-1. Please click here for full results of the Championship.

Men's U17 Pan Am Team Departs for Mexico
The 2010 Men’s U17 Pan American Youth Championship Team have departed for Hermosillo, Mexico. The athletes and staff have one week of exhibition games, training sessions and final preparations before they represent Canada at the first ever Youth Olympic Qualifier, February 6-13.

Regional Program - Weather Cancellations
In the event of a Regional Training session being cancelled due to snow or frozen turf, FHBC will post a news item here on the homepage. We will try to post the announcement by noon on the day of training, but all athletes and parents are encouraged to check the FHBC website prior to departing for training just in case there is a last minute update. If there is no news item then your training session is ON!

Pan Am Youth Program launches new website
Field Hockey BC earned the right to send two teams to represent Canada at the Pan American Youth Championships by winning the Gold Medal at both the Girls and Boys Canadian Under 16 National Championships this past summer. The boys’ tournament is being held in Hermosillo, Mexico in February, 2010 and the girls in Montevideo, Uruguay in March 2010. Learn more about the teams, their story and how you can help the U17 Pan Am Teams achieve excellence!
