Age Groups

U15 eligibility - athletes born in 1997, 1998, 1999

U18 eligibility - athletes born in 1994, 1995, 1996

The Provincial team program is targeted at BC’s best athletes. Through focused and periodized training, BC athletes are provided the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s best field hockey coaches in an inspiring and competitive environment. Teams prepare for domestic competitions such as BC, Western, Field Hockey Canada’s National Championships and BC’s Invitational Tournaments, as well as international competitions such as CAN/AM Challenge, and International Tours.

BC’s consistent success over the past few decades can be attributed to our pursuit of excellence and our athlete-centered performance model. Provincial Team programs commence training the first weekend of June, unless they are preparing for a Multi-sport games.
