The High Performance Regional Program stream includes the following programs for boys:
These programs are for athletes interested in continuous, committed, High Performance Training during the fall months in their own region, with certified coaches. The Regional Program is the first step in the provincial team athlete identification process.
Learn to Train Development Program
Athlete Eligibility for 2013 Session:

Male athletes born in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003

Live (or attend school) within their Region

Technical Skills Development

Participation in an educational, supportive and fun environment

Fun game play during the FHBC Festival in July, 2013
Program Highlights:

20-25 hours of on-field training with certified FHBC coaches

Fitness and Injury Prevention Program

Train to Train Regional Program
Athlete Eligibility:
Program Focus:

Continue developing the fundamental movement skills (FMS)

Continue developing and refining the technical and tactical skills covered in the Learn to Train program

Introduce and develop the next level of challenging and advanced technical and tactical skills, in a systematic way
-
Develop a deep understanding of the various concepts, which govern the game, via mini hockey

Improve the game understanding of the players, via simplified mini games, specific to the theme and specific situation of the game
