BC Sweeps Senior Nationals
BC Senior Men won gold, beating Ontario 1-0 in overtime, while the Senior Women's team won an all BC final, with a victory against the Under 19 BC Women (4-1). BC`s Kate Thompson (B.C. U-19) and Michael Lee were named the tournament's most valuable players. Congratulations to all athletes, coaches and managers involved in the Canadian National Championships held in Calgary. Men's and Women's Senior National Championships
The BC Women's and Men's teams start strong at this year's Senior National Championships in Calgary. The Senior Women won thier first 3 games against BC U19, Alberta South 2 and PEI (4-0, 9-0, 7-0) . BC U19 Women are generating momentum, opening with a loss against BC Senior, but winning against Alberta South 1 & 2 and Alberta North (0-4, 3-1, 8-1, 2-1). BC's Senior Men secured their first win, 2-1 against Manitoba. U14 Girls Club Championships
Congratulations to the Vancouver Gold Hawks who won the gold medal over the West Van Eagles in the Tier 1 category at the U14 Girls Club Championships hosted by West Vancouver. India Club placed first in the Tier 2 category while the West Van Ladybugs won the Tier 3 category. A huge thank you to the host volunteers, managers, coaches, umpires, and players. U16 Boys Club Championships
Congratulations to the Vancouver Gold Hawks who won the U16 Boy's Club Championships 1-0 over St. George's. Burnaby-United Brother's picked up the bronze medal by defeating the West Van Marauders 2-1. A big thank you to The West Van Marauders and the Vancouver Black Hawks- these two teams showed great sportsmanship and cooperation when they were forced to stop their delayed evening game because the lights timed out.The two teams agreed to finish their game early the next morning so that the schedule was not disrupted. U18 Women's Club Championships
Congratulations to the West Van Eagles who defeated the West Van Cheetahs 2-1 in the final of the Women's U18 Tier 1 Club Championships in Delta. The West Van Eagles placed first in the Tier 2 division in a close 1-0 win over the White Hawks. For final standings and photos please click here.

U12 Boys Festival
Congratulations to all participants of the U12 Boys Festival held on June 14th at Eric Hamber Field. A big Thank you to all umpires (a few who umpired 6 in a row!), The Hawks Club Tournament Hosts, coaches, managers, parents and players. U14 Boys Club Championships
Congratulations to the Delta Falcons 1 team who defeated India Club in the final 4-1 to win the gold medal at the Club Championships hosted in Victoria. The Red Hawks won the bronze medal in a close 3-2 game over Cowichan. For full results please click here.

 Korea victorious in the Battle for Beijing!
Congratulations to SOUTH KOREA who won the gold medal and the final placing at the Beijing Olympics with a string of startling performances that dazzled the crowds at the WorldHockey Olympic Qualifier in Victoria last week. Teams competing: Canada, South Korea, Italy, Ireland, Malaysia and Uruguay. Final Standings: 1. Korea 2. Italy 3. Ireland 4. Canada 5. Malaysia 6. Uruguay.

Call for Coaches
Schools Programs will commence from the end of January 2008 through to the beginning of July 2008. FHBC is looking for coaches of all ages and experience to assist with Elementary School programs that will take place both after school and during the school day.
