Umpiring Professional Development Courses - November 2007

BC will host both an Umpires Assessors Course and a Course Conductors Course (for the Provincial Award) on the weekend of November 10th and 11th 2007.

This is an opportunity for umpires rated as Regional or above to gain certification as an Assessor or Provincial Course Conductor.

Field Hockey BC has identified key individuals within our community who have been invited to attend this professional development opportunity.

This opportunity does not preclude any Club Umpires or Umpires rated as Provincial (previously Provincial A) from applying to be included in these courses, however, these umpires must be able to prove that they have the necessary experience and ability to be accepted.

Course Details:

Assessors Course            

Date: Saturday 10 November 2007
Time: 9.00am – 11.30am (Theory); 12.30 – 4.00pm (Practical)
Venue: Sport BC Room 106 (Theory); UBC Wright Field (Practical)

Course Conductors Course

Date: Sunday 11 November 2007
Time: 12 noon – 5.00pm
Venue: Sport BC (Room 106)
